Frequently Asked Questions
What will happen in cloudy days?
Electricity is stored in the battery each day, and some of that energy is used to power the light at night. Usually, we ensure the solar lighting will work for 3 nights without charging. This means that, even after raining day, there still have enough energy in the battery to power the light at night. Surely, we can design it with shorten or extend batteries backup days according to the local circumstance.

Can I use existing poles?
Solar powered light fixtures can be fixed to an existing light pole provided:
The existing light pole should in good operating condition;
The existing cable should be replaced;
The existing light pole should strong enough to support the additional weight and resist wind. |

How does solar lighting work?
| The sun's energy is clean, endless and free. There is enough energy from the sun to power the entire earth forever. When the sun radiate on crystals panels made from silicon – solar panel, it turns into an electrical current. During daytime the solar panels convert solar energy to electricity. The solar panels charge the lead acid batteries and gel batterries. After dust, the controller order the batteries discharge electricity to run the light automatically. Until dawn, the controller order the batteries stop discharging automatically and start a new circle.

Do I need to clean the panels periodically?
Most of our customers do not clean their panels. In most areas of the country, there is sufficient rain to clean the panels. However, if you are in a dusty area (very near a busy dirt road, very urban area, etc.) you may see a performance gain from cleaning the panels monthly. If necessary, a hose stream is usually sufficient for cleaning. Do not walk on or over the panels to clean them. Do not use metal, hard, or abrasive methods for cleaning. Do not spray water on the panels when they are very hot.

What will happen if the panels under shade?
PV panels should be installed in areas where they get significant shade-free sun every day. Even small amounts of shade can significantly reduce the output. Our designs and installations also seek to minimize the impact of any shade issues through selection of the proper equipment and good engineering.

What will happen if the panels are covered by snow?
Solar electric panels need sunshine to generate power. While some sun does make it through several inches of snow, little electricity is generated when the panels are covered with anything. Most power is made during clear sunny days. Our estimates take that into account.

How much power does the system output per day?
In the same city, the bigger the solar panel, the more the output power. With the same solar panel, the stronger the solar radiation the more the output power. We will know you the estimate output power for your project.

Should panels face to the sun?
Face to the sun, and choose the best angel to reveice solar radiation as much as possible. It is usually more effective and attractive.
